Trimetari Consulting LLC carries out work on laser scanning, 3D modeling, and creating photo tours.

The problem of initial data in design

Since 2010, we have been working for EPC companies, design institutes, architectural bureaus, design and engineering departments of companies in the oil and gas, energy, metallurgical, chemical, woodworking, food, and other industries.

Our services are in demand where there is a need to obtain spatial source data when designing the reconstruction of a complex industrial or architectural object. Often existing drawings are outdated, a new geodetic survey or manual measurement require a lot of time and can also contain errors.

Solution

We carry out the survey of buildings and structures by laser scanning. The scanning result is relevant, has high detail and meets the construction standards and regulations in terms of accuracy.

The resulting 3D model is loaded into CAD and serves as the basis for designing the reconstruction of existing objects. Panoramic photo tours and a point cloud can be placed on our server and serve as an excellent tool for collaborative work on the project.

Value

As a result, designers work not on the basis of outdated drawings, but on the basis of relevant, accurate and highly detailed laser scanning data. The number of collisions in design is significantly reduced, which saves human resources. The design documentation at the same time contains fewer errors, which leads to a reduction in the terms and cost of construction and installation work. In addition, laser scanning data, available for viewing in the cloud service, allows you to assess the situation at the facility remotely, hold meetings, organize other collaborative work, requiring consideration of the specifics of a particular existing object. This opportunity allows you to abandon long and numerous business trips and free up engineers to perform basic design duties.

Expertise

Our company was founded in 2010, consists of real professionals, experts in laser scanning, BIM, 3D modeling, who have higher education in the field of geodesy, cartography, architecture, IT, cadastre, BIM, geoinformatics. Experts have teaching experience in universities and advanced training courses, publish articles on the subject in profile scientific and technical publications, the company employs 2 PhDs.

The company is equipped with a park of modern equipment, consisting of 4 laser scanners Leica ScanStation P40, Leica RTC360 (Switzerland), satellite geodetic equipment, professional photographic equipment. The office has high-performance graphic stations, a data storage system and a server.

Every year, the company carries out dozens of projects in Germany, the Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, India, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia. The portfolio includes projects such as monitoring the construction of the Lakhta Center, the tallest skyscraper in Europe, the headquarters of Gazprom, laser scanning of dozens of installations of the Omsk, Moscow, Kirishi refineries. As part of the construction of an engineering data management system, a full scan of the capacities of Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat, the largest petrochemical complex in Russia, was carried out. Trimetari Consulting specialists worked on the reconstruction and construction of offices of HUAWEI, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Yandex, shopping centers IKEA (Ingka Group), MEGA, Inditex.

Customer Reviews

Vladimir Kaidalov, Deputy General Director for Capital Construction of Gazpromneft-Terminal LLC:

“In 2020, Trimetari Consulting specialists performed laser scanning of 14 oil depots. The results allowed us to digitize these objects in a short time for the subsequent development of information models, control of construction and installation work, identification of deviations from design documentation.”

Brian Bevis, Associate, MSA Ltd, United Kingdom:

“MSA Ltd were commissioned by a world famous international architectural practice to carry out a detailed 3D Laser Scan to BIM survey project as part of a highly confidential refurbishment scheme of an iconic skyscraper in Moscow. Working together, MSA’s and Trimetari Consulting’s surveyors were able to scan, process and model not just the target areas of the refurbishment project but were able to capture additional information for the client’s design team that has enabled a far wider use and benefit over the whole project.”

Benjamin Zechel, Engineering – Konstruktionstechnik, Achenbach Buschhütten GmbH & Co. KG, Germany:

“To support our plant upgrade, we hired Trimetari Consulting to laser scan our mill. Despite a tight timeline, they efficiently scanned the entire mill in a day, producing high-quality point cloud and spherical panoramas. After data processing, their expert provided consultations and training in our German office, enabling us to effectively utilize the scanning data and achieve perfect visualization of the mill parts.”

Steve Orser, President, Lasertech Floorplans Ltd., Canada:

“Obviously as a North American firm, we required the services of a local scanning company, one familiar with the area and procedures, but most importantly capable of performing quality work on a tight schedule. From conducting the field work to delivery of the final scan files, the Trimetari team met our complete needs and expectations, and the quality of the work and final files and photographs were outstanding.”
