In June 2024, Trimetari Consulting specialists carried out ground-based laser scanning of the Nativity of Christ and Theodore Stratilat churches in the Republic of Karelia. The work was carried out in order to fix the condition of the deteriorating historical and architectural monuments.
The laser scanning work was carried out in one day using a Leica RTC 360 terrestrial laser scanner. In order to capture small details of facades, losses, the survey was carried out with increased density. The stations were set up to ensure the highest visibility. Each station was photographed with high resolution.
The results of laser scanning were provided to the customer in the form of a point cloud in Autodesk RCP format, a set of measurement drawings in Autodesk DWG format: facades, sections, plans and fragments. Access to the Trimetari ENTERPRISE cloud service – an online platform for viewing point clouds and photopanoramas – was also provided.
