In June 2024, “Trimetari Consulting” conducted a laser scanning training course for employees of  “Tengizchevroil”, the largest oil production company in Kazakhstan. The course included both basic training on Leica Geosystems surveying equipment (Leica ScanStation P50 laser scanner) and Leica Cyclone software, and advanced training customized to the specifics of Tengizchevroil’s operations.

During the training, Tengizchevroil’s specialists attended courses that focused on laser scanning of industrial facilities for reconstruction and operational efficiency improvement. Technical aspects of laser scanning, geodetic monitoring of building structures, information modeling and updating of 3D models based on laser scanning data were also discussed in detail.

“Tengizchevroil” is a joint venture engaged in the development, production and sale of oil, gas and related products. The annual volume of oil production is more than 27 million tons, and the number of the company’s employees reaches 3,400. The main owners of the company are American corporations Chevron and ExxonMobil, as well as Kazakhstan’s KazMunauGas.
