Laser scanning of petrochemical production ZapSibNeftekhim, Tobolsk

Image from the company website.In February 2022, work was successfully completed on laser scanning of the petrochemical production of ZapSibNeftekhim LLC, which is part of the Sibur holding. The work was carried out in order to obtain initial data for the design of reconstruction and modernization at the production of monomers and at the Pyrolysis production. The three-dimensional data obtained as a result of the work was used to build an information 3D model of process equipment, building structures and communications. (read more…)

Laser Scanning of YANSAB Oil Refinery (Saudi Arabia)

YANSAB Oil Refinery. The picture is from official websire of the company.In September 2017, a laser scanning project of YANSAB oil refinery (Yanbu’ al-Bahr, Saudi Arabia) was completed. Specialists from Trimetari Consulting took part in this laser scanning work, including office processing stage. The result of the work on laser scanning – a point cloud – is used by the customer’s design department to design the reconstruction of the enterprise using CAD AVEVA. The result of the design, based on accurate point cloud, contains much less collisions and spatial clashes, that can significantly save time and money during further construction and installation works. Laser Scanning for BIM of Bogoliubovsky Mining Plant, Krasnoyarsk territory, Russia

BIM-model of the mining plant, created with laser scanningIn January 2016, Trimetari Consulting LLC performed laser scanning of the main building of Bogoliubovsky Mining and Processing Plant, which processes gold-sulfide and gold-antimony ore. The purpose of the work is to create an executive BIM-model of the facility. The industrial building with an area of ​​more than 3000 m², multi-level structures, technological equipment and communications were scanned in 2 days. The resulting point cloud was later used to build an accurate and up-to-date BIM model of the factory. (read more…)

The point cloud - the result of laser scanningThe wine trading house Camill Depre – the building of 1899, built by architect R. Kleim, is located in the center of Moscow on Petrovsky Boulevard. The two-story building has not been used for the past 20 years. On the ground floor there was a wine shop, and in the basement – a shop for bottling wine and wine cellars. The reconstruction of the building was carried out in order to reorganize it to the loft apartment. The measurement of the building by laser scanning was required to quickly create an accurate and up-to-date as-built BIM model. (read more…)
